Volvo 70 Series Performance Issue

Some of the 70 Series Volvo's have a fault in the computer program in the ECU which results in a poor performance. This is most noticeable in a standing start, especially the T5. Volvo have made an upgrade of the software for the ECU available at Volvo dealerships. This upgrade is free. Although most owners should be contacted by the Volvo dealership who originally sold the car, it is possible that some have not been contacted. The following chassis numbers are those cars that are affected, and if you have not been contacted to get the upgrade then you should contact any Volvo dealership.
